- The first of a new series of presentations at our OGCA Meetings on important Ocean Grove legal issues was given by Legal Committee Chair Robert Ingato on why OG residents must pay the property taxes on land owned by the Camp Meeting Association. On this post you can access the PowerPoint presentation that accompanied Robert’s presentation.
- Local historian Dell O’Hara gave an outstanding presentation at our January 24th OGCA Meeting on how to research the history of a house in Ocean Grove working with the Historical Society of Ocean Grove. On the Bulletin Board you can access her summary sheet of research instructions.
- The Neptune Township School District Budget Task Force held their first 2026 meeting on January 13th. OGCA President Joyce Klein is now a member of that Task Force and at our January 24th OGCA Meeting she gave an extensive overview of that important meeting. Both the PPT prepared for that meeting and the meeting’s minutes are available on the post.
- At our November 22nd OGCA Meeting County Tax Administrator Matt Clark provided an overview of property assessments from the Monmouth County perspective. His PowerPoint presentation is available.
- We’ve posted a summary of the November 13 meeting with Neptune Township, the School District, the Governor’s Office, and members of LD11 to discuss the district’s ongoing financial challenges.
- At our October 25th OGCA Meeting Robert Ingato, chair of our Membership Committee, gave the results of the Ocean Grove Resident Survey about the OGCA that was conducted in September and had over 400 repondees.
